DESCRIPTION:The FOLD Kids Bookfest includes a fantastic array of events featuring a diverse array of authors and illustrators who’ve created books for young people (ages 0-18). In addition to events centred around children and young people\, the festival includes opportunities for adult writers of children’s literature to take part in pitch sessions and to develop their craft through in-person workshops with the festival’s incredible lineup of authors. \n  \n \n  \nLearn to Illustrate Workshop – This event is designed for illustrators and artists who are 14+ \nIllustrator Soyeon Kim leads an informative workshop on creating powerful images for picture books. This event will only be available live and will not be recorded. This event takes place online via Zoom.
