DESCRIPTION:Author Gwen Tuinman Shares Her Journey to Publication of Novel\, Unrest \nFree for MAA Members. $20 for Non-Members. \nDoors open at 6:30 pm. \nIMPORTANT NOTE TO ATTENDEES: Gwen has a brain/eye issue that results in my extreme sensitivity to LED lighting. Over exposure impacts her health and the recovery time is lengthy. Open laptops or i-pads (even if they are facing away from her) and computer projectors or tv screens are problematic. \nGwen Tuinman is the author of Unrest (Random House Canada\, 2024)\, a 19th-century feminist adventure set against the gritty Bytown frontier. The National Post calls Unrest “an edgy adventure yarn about women’s freedom”.
