DESCRIPTION:Via Zoom. \nIfeoma Chinwuba\, the current Writer-in-Residence at the University of Alberta\, will lead this session on raising a writer at home and in school\, and habits and outlook that encourage the creative spirit. She will talk about resources to draw from to become a self-made writer. \nMs. Ifeoma Chinwuba rose from a child refugee in the Biafra War to ambassador of Nigeria to Côte d’Ivoire. She has published five books: Merchants of Flesh\, Fearless\, Waiting for Maria\, African Romance and Head Boy. In 2008\, Waiting for Maria was on the Commonwealth Writers Prize long list. Ms. Chinwuba is the Writer-in-Residence 2021-2022 of the University of Alberta\, Edmonton. \nRegister for this event by emailing NCRadmin@canadianauthors.org.
