SUMMARY:CAA BC CHAPTER – Voices Across Borders Poetry Event
DESCRIPTION:Voices Across Borders is a poetry-focused event celebrating immigrant experiences and\nmulticultural belonging. Poets will share works exploring identity\, adaptation\, resilience\, and the search for home. The event will highlight how poetry can connect communities and foster empathy. \nThis Open Mic event will be held in Meeting Room 418 of the City Central Branch of Surrey Libraries\, located at 10350 University Drive\, Surrey. \nRegistrants will have 6 minutes to present. If there is extra time after registrants finish\,\nvolunteers can step up! \nTo register to read or for questions\, please contact Neha Sharma at nehavatsa89@gmail.com. If you have a published book\, please feel free to bring some along! Donations to cover expenses are welcome but not a requirement. \nThis event is sponsored by the BC Chapter of the Canadian Authors Association.
