Celebrate the diverse voices and experiences of community members and honour the achievements\, resilience\, and contributions of Black Canadians. \n\nStorytime Adventures with Talkin’ Tales\n\nWednesday\, February 04 at 6 – 7 p.m. | Chinguacousy Branch Library \nKesha Christie\, a storyteller who loves sharing fun African and Caribbean folktales\, invites kids and families to join in the adventure as she presents her stories full of imagination\, laughter\, and lessons. \n\nBrampton Tech Talks: From Barriers to Breakthroughs\n\nThursday\, February 5 at 7 – 8 p.m. | Springdale Branch Library \nPresented in partnership with the Brampton Innovation District and Brampton Venture Zone (BVZ) by TMU\, this session spotlights Black founders who are turning lived experience into powerful innovation. \nModerated by Marlene Spence\, Founder of Hope Endoors and The CHANCE Centre\, this conversation brings together speakers Andre Smith\, Founder & CEO of Flip & Floss; and Abdel Ali\, Founder & CEO of Kiwi Charge and Director at BLCK VC Canada. \n\nEnroute 2 Success Film Screening: Ninth Floor\n\nSaturday\, February 21 at 2 – 5 p.m. | Cyril Clark Branch Library \nIn partnership with Enroute 2 Success\, Brampton Library is pleased to present an enlightening event celebrating Black History in Canada.
