Kahn\, author of The Gourmet Club: A Novel\, Darrell Berry\, author of Early This Morning: A Novel\, and Susan Ellison Busch\, author of Chance at Life.\n\n\nMichael A. Kahn is a trial lawyer by day and an award-winning author at night. His novels include Bad Trust and 10 others in the Rachel Gold mystery series\, the novel The Sirena Quest (described as “a Baby Boomer version of ‘The Big Chill’ meets ‘The Maltese Falcon'”)\, and other novels and short stories. Married to his high school sweetheart\, Margi\, they are the parents of five and the grandparents of eleven. His proudest moment as a writer: when his children took one of his books to school for show-and-tell.\n\nDarrell Berry is retired from the Army\, having served in both the enlisted and officer ranks. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology\, a master’s in Human resources\, and a postgraduate diploma in strategic intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College. He served during the “Don’t Ask\, Don’t Tell” policy area regarding gay service members. The author lives north of San Antonio\, Texas\, with his two rescue dogs. Early This Morning: A Novel is Darrell’s first novel. He is currently working on a second.\n\nSusan Ellison Busch is a nurse practitioner with many years of experience caring for patients with kidney disease. She has taught nurse practitioner students as faculty at Kent State University. She has spoken at national conferences on topics related to kidney disease and also about 22q.11 Deletion syndrome.\n
