Join this celebrated author as he discusses Own Voices, citing his various writer identities, including former refugee and queer person. Danny Ramadan has published in a variety of genres. He is currently serving as Writer-in-residence at the Saskatoon Public Library.<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

His debut novel, The Clothesline Swing<\/a>, won the Independent Publisher Book Award and The Canadian Authors Association Award. Also shortlisted for an Evergreen Award, a Sunburst Award and a Lambda Award, the novel has been translated into French, German and Hebrew.
\nHis children\u2019s book, Salma the Syrian Chef<\/a> is nominated for the Forest of Reading\u2019s Blue Spruce award.
\nHis forthcoming novel, The Foghorn Echoes will be released by Penguin Canada and Canongate UK in Summer 2022.
