He is a critically acclaimed author of eleven novels, published by ECW Press, two of which won Independent Publisher Awards. Dietrich\u2019s debut, <i>Ride the Lightning<\/i>, was hailed as one of Vancouver\u2019s best crime novels in 2014, and his second, <i>The Deadbeat Club<\/i>, was translated and became a best-seller in Germany. Dietrich calls Vancouver his home, is an avid reader and guitar player.
