Dietrich Kalteis<\/b>\u00a0is the winner of the 2022 Crime Writers of Canada Award of Excellence for Best Crime Novel for\u00a0Under an Outlaw Moon<\/i>. He is a critically acclaimed author of eleven novels, published by ECW Press, two of which won Independent Publisher Awards. Dietrich\u2019s debut, Ride the Lightning<\/i>, was hailed as one of Vancouver\u2019s best crime novels in 2014, and his second, The Deadbeat Club<\/i>, was translated and became a best-seller in Germany. Dietrich calls Vancouver his home, is an avid reader and guitar player. He takes long hikes for inspiration.<\/div>\n
