DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us to read what you have written in 2024. It can be: opening paragraphs of a short story, a revised ending of your novel in progress, a synopsis of a memoir you’ll be working on, a poem or two, some notes for an essay that is still taking shape in your head, or even a recipe for a pot roast you inherited from your grandmother and will put in a cookbook you intend to publish.\nAnything creative and interesting that is approximately 5 minutes long.\nWe will be particularly happy to hear writers who have not read to an audience before. Don’t be shy or humble (humility is a vice)! When it’s your turn, very briefly introduce yourself and tell us what you write, and maybe an author you find inspiring. If you have a favourite book, hold it to the screen for 3 seconds.
