Results of Canadian Authors–Metro Vancouver 2017 Annual General Meeting

Canadian Authors–Metro Vancouver branch held it’s AGM on Monday, December 4, 2017. All the executive board was acclaimed. Kathleen Schmitt begins her second one-year term as president. Here is a list of the board and committee members for 2018:

The president is an ex-officio member of all committees.

Sarah Jamieson joins the Newsletter and Social Media committees, and Roxanne Davies is the new Writers’ Circles Coordinator.

Jean Kay held a variety of positions on the CA-MV executive, most recently as the Treasurer, and coordinator of the annual story contest and National Voices anthology. Jean is currently on medical leave.

*Robert W. Mackay was appointed as the Acting Treasurer, and he will remain on the executive as a Member-at-Large. Nationally, Bob is the Regional Director BC & Yukon, and he chairs the Canadian Authors National Governance Committee.
